Making Music on Film
Making Music on Film is a course that will give students from a variety of disciplines an opportunity to work together on a professional level musical film project. Under the mentorship of working film professionals and faculty, students will collaborate on the visual design, performance, production, and post-production of a professional-level film project that incorporates musical performance as a central element. The course is designed both to teach collaborative problem solving, and to help students develop high-level artistic and technical skills in the media arts. In the first semester, students will be working on the production of two extended music-dance sequences from an original movie-musical.
